Eric Hirsch

Senior Process Engineer

Eric Hirsch is an accomplished process engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the chemical and refining industry, including nearly 10 years of on-site experience. His work at Nexus has included concept development and economic screening for new projects, detailed equipment/valve/piping sizing, relief valve revalidation/mitigation and flare header modeling, controls design, and PHA/HAZOP/LOPA support. Past work includes solvent recovery, conveying, and dust collection system design. Eric earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.Eng. in Manufacturing from Cornell University. He has experience in ASPEN, HYSYS and ChemCad process modeling software, Visual Flow relief design modeling software, and PHAST Dispersion modeling software.

Gregg Pinkelman

Gregg Pinkelman

Project Director

Gregg Pinkelman brings more than 35 years of project management experience, specializing in overall project design, planning, specifications, cost estimates, personnel coordination, budget control and project administration. In his role at Nexus, Gregg leads business and proposal development, project schedules, execution of work and management of multi-discipline projects for the firm’s Maumee office. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Toledo, and Gregg is a 30-year member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Nathan Stahley

Nathan Stahley

Mechanical & Piping Discipline Manager

Nathan Stahley has more than a decade of experience working in the design, engineering and construction industries. His work has ranged from designing new gas and fluid separation applications and manufacturing processes, to managing multi-plant engineering departments. Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University and his Master of Engineering Management from Duke University. His certifications include Engineer in Training (EIT), ASME BPV Code: VIII-I – Design and Fabrication of Pressure Vessels, ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code, and Caesar II Pipe Stress Analysis.
