CLEVELAND – Nexus Engineering Group LLC, a full-service, independent engineering firm focused in the refining, petroleum midstream, chemical, manufacturing and utilities industries, finished 2018 with record sales. The company grew by 20 percent as compared to 2017, expanding the number and scope of projects with existing clients and developing relationships with new clients across the Midwest and Gulf Coast regions.

To support continuous growth in 2019, the company made two strategic hires. The first is Emily Gambill, who will serve as Manager, Business Strategy and Operations. Gambill will help the growing organization formalize its strategic business plans, employee development programs and marketing initiatives. Gambill comes to Nexus from a major Fortune 100 company in Texas, where she served as brand manager, responsible for leading the implementation of business and marketing initiatives for several recognizable household brands.

“I am delighted to be a part of a great team at a fast-growing organization,” said Gambill. “Contributing to the company’s growth by organizing, planning and communicating programs that support strategic goals will be challenging, but ultimately rewarding.” Nexus also hired John Ririe to serve as its Director, Project Services. In this role, he will oversee the expansion of project controls services and support the implementation of advanced work packaging (AWP).

In total, Nexus added 38 employees across its three locations in Cleveland, Maumee, Houston, and the upper Midwest to support the growing firm. With solid strategy and effective execution, Nexus plans to add more strategic clients to the roster in 2019.

“We truly think differently. Our goal is to support our clients’ strategic business goals, not just to bill professional hours. Our exceptional team members partner with our clients for project success,” said Marianne Corrao, Founding Partner and Executive Vice President of Nexus Engineering Group.

“Our people make all the difference and have been the key ingredient to our annual double-digit growth,” said Jeff Herzog, Founding Partner and President of Nexus Engineering Group. “We’ve worked

hard at making our company a great place to work, where associates contribute to meaningful work that has an impact in the world. Our employees have benefited from challenging work and have shared in the profitability of the firm. We have consistently matched 401K contributions, paid bonuses, and have done profit sharing since the founding of the firm.”

Nexus is always looking for talented individuals to join their growing team of professionals. Current career opportunities are posted on the Careers page in their website.
