Serving Our Clients During Covid-19: Remote Work Plan

To our valued clients,

We admire your resilience as you continue providing critical products needed by our country during the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize that we have an important role to play in supporting your business and its response to this national challenge. We stand ready to do everything we can to safely and efficiently meet your needs.

We have taken the appropriate steps to reduce the risk to our team and clients by following government guidelines and common sense aimed at slowing the spread of this virus.

Our #1 priority is the safety of our team and their families, our clients, and our community.

On March 23, Nexus implemented a Temporary Work from Home Policy for all Nexus Team Members.

As the COVID-19 situation rapidly evolved, we proactively prepared for its potential impact on our business and industry. We worked with our team members to ensure they had access to the tools and resources needed to effectively perform their job functions from home – a challenge that has been debilitating for many in our industry.

Our systems, technology, and processes are in place to support our remote operations. The Nexus team is supported by a robust communication platform and has access to our full range of engineering and design tools and systems. Our team has adjusted its style to match these unusual circumstances.

We’re in the midst of an increasingly difficult time for our industry, nation, and world. But with great challenge comes even greater opportunity.

After completing our first week under the new remote work policy, we wanted to share some insights we’ve uncovered throughout the process.

  • Enabling our team has led to new and better ways to collaborate within Nexus and with our clients in this new work environment.
  • Keeping focused on being safe while maintaining our high level of service has revealed our team’s incredible resiliency, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to keeping our clients’ projects on track, even in unexpected circumstances.
  • Capturing lessons learned during these challenging times will make us a better firm and help us better react to the ever-changing needs of our clients in the future.

We are proud to report that we’re continuing with business as usual and that our team continues working effectively and efficiently to deliver for our clients.

Sincerely,

Marianne Corrao & Jeff Herzog
